Welcome to the Shamokin Area High School’s Web Site.  Our goal is to challenge our students to perform at high academic standards.  Classes at all levels are academically rigorous and taught by highly qualified teachers who challenge students to do their best work.  We employ an APL approach to teaching and learning.  Through this process, teachers and staff are better prepared to offer meaningful classroom instruction; leadership throughout our school system is better able to use and interpret data to drive decision-making, plan professional development, and help ALL children succeed now and into the future.

Announcements

  • Congratulations to the team of Paige Sherman, Jodi Smith, and Ivy Savidge for their third place win at the PA State Computer Fair yesterday. Their animation received a great deal of notice by all in attendance. The girls won a cash award and should be very proud of their accomplishment.
