    The purpose of the Shamokin Area Educational Foundation is to raise funds to promote, enhance and supplement educational programs and activities for the benefit of the Shamokin Area School District and community.

    Why support the Foundation?

     The Shamokin Area Education Foundation supports excellence for programs, activities and materials for the education of kindergarten through 12th- grade students.

    Donations are tax deductible

    Your donations are tax deductible. The Foundation is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

    What are other means by which you may support the Foundation?

    • Volunteering your time
    • Donating goods for Special Events

    Donate through payroll deduction

    Employees of the Shamokin Area School District may support the Foundation through payroll deduction.
