NAME: Todd Hockenbroch
Todd Hockenbroch was a Health and Physical Education teacher from 2004-2014 at Shamokin Area, Head Teacher at Northwestern Academy from 2014-2016, and Shamokin Area Middle/High School Assistant Principal since 2016. Prior to becoming an employee of Shamokin Area Mr. Hockenbroch was a 1997 graduate of Shamokin Area. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts and Humanities as well as a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Bloomsburg University. He holds a Principal (K-12) administrative certification through Edinboro University.
Mr. Hockenbroch enters his first year as Middle/High School Principal with the same goals and work ethic bestowed upon him as an alumnus. He will continue the tradition of graduating high-achieving, hard-working, productive, and responsible citizens. Mr. Hockenbroch would like to ensure all parents that Shamokin Area Middle/High School is a place for their child to feel safe, so they can be educated to their full potential.
He enjoys the challenge of helping student athletes achieve life long goals. He was involved in winning the Carol M. White grant that helped upgrade the Physical Education Department. He is the proud father of two sons who also attend Shamokin Area.
