Senior Announcement / Graduation Readiness

 

All seniors and families should begin preparing now for the end of the school year. A Senior Checklist outlining all graduation requirements has been shared through newsletters and is available on the Senior Google Classroom and Spear VLA website. Students are responsible for reviewing and completing all items prior to May. Failure to complete required items may result in not graduating on time and/or not being permitted to participate in the graduation ceremony.

Reminders

• All coursework must be completed by May 15

• Students must meet all graduation requirements (including Act 158)

• Seniors should attend all scheduled senior meetings.

• FINALS are built into the courses.

• Do not assume eligibility—students must be verified as cleared to graduate

Communication Expectations

Students are expected to regularly check:

• Senior Google Classroom

• School Gmail

• Pearson Connexus (announcements and webmail)

 

Important information is also shared through ParentSquare and newsletters.

Failure to monitor communication is not an acceptable reason for missing requirements.
