SPEAR Program Highlight: Senior Meeting & Picture Day

SENIOR PICTURE DAY

8:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m.

 

SENIOR MEETING — MEETING 1 OF 3

10:00 a.m.

 

The senior meeting is being held on the same day as Senior Picture Day so students do not need to attend at two separate times.

 

During the meeting, each senior will:

• Receive a Senior Graduation Checklist.

• Complete a credit review with Guidance.

• Review their Act 158 graduation pathway and current status.

• Identify remaining credits, requirements, documents, deadlines, or follow-up steps needed for graduation.

• Ask Guidance questions about graduation planning.

 

If a work schedule or Vo-Tech schedule conflicts with the 10:00 a.m. meeting, that is okay. Please contact your Guidance counselor promptly to receive the Senior Checklist items and arrange the required credit and Act 158 graduation reviews. Use the High School Guidance Contacts button below.

 

JostensPIX will take senior portraits and tux-and-drape photos throughout the Picture Day window. Please dress according to the directions provided for your picture and watch ParentSquare and Pearson for any reporting instructions or schedule updates.

FOR THE SENIOR MEETING

Review your course progress and bring questions about credits, graduation requirements, or senior-year planning. Keep the Senior Graduation Checklist in a safe place and complete all follow-up items.

 

WHAT TO WEAR FOR SENIOR PICTURES

• October 5 is for seniors’ tux-and-drape portraits.

• Tuxedo-style portrait: Wear suit-and-tie or other appropriate dress clothes.

• Drape/cowl-style portrait: Wear a top that can be moved easily off the shoulders and to the sides so the cowl can be positioned without difficulty.

• Please do not wear green. JostensPIX uses a green screen, and green clothing may disappear into the selected background.

 

Students should be prepared to adjust their own clothing and hair.

 

USING YOUR OWN YEARBOOK HEADSHOT

If you have already taken your own headshot and it meets the yearbook requirements, please contact Diana Cheunes at dcheunes@indians.k12.pa.us so the photo can be reviewed and submitted correctly.

 

HOW TO VIEW AND ORDER PHOTOS
