IMPORTANT HERSHEY TRIP INFORMATION

HERSHEY PARK IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Reminder: Trip date – Thursday, May 21  

Students will report to school at the regular time. 


Any inappropriate dress will not be allowed including but not limited to inappropriate language and pictures, spaghetti straps, crop tops, lots of holes in pants, extremely short shorts, etc. If dressed inappropriately, you will be asked to change or will not be allowed to go on the trip.

Students will board the buses between 8:15 – 8:30 am.

 

All students must remain in a group throughout the day.  NO students are allowed to walk around the park alone at any time.  

 

All students will need money for food, games, and / or souvenirs. Hershey Park is cashless. See the back for details.  

Students cannot pack their lunches. The park does not allow you to take food in. You can only take a clear water bottle. 

 

All tickets include entrance to the park, zoo, and Chocolate World. 

 

We will leave the park at 5pm and returning to the school at approximately 6:30pm. ALL STUDENTS NEED TO BE BACK ON THE BUS BY 4:45pm. 

 

We will be at the Carousel between 1 – 1:30pm for any student who needs to meet with teachers for a problem or assistance. If you need help any other time throughout the day, you can check with a first aid station, and they have our contact information.

 

All students are responsible to be picked up in the front of the school at 6:30pm.  

 

Do not bring your school backpack with Chromebook, charger, and books. 

 

Failure to return on time and behavior problems during the trip including on the bus will result in not going next year

 

 

HERSHEY PARK IS NOW CASHLESS

In an effort to create more convenient dining, retail and gaming experiences for our guests, Hersheypark is now cashless.  

We have plenty of payment options available for our guests. All major debit and credit cards, Hersheypark gift cards, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and Google Pay will be accepted. If you only have cash at the time of your Park visit, please visit one of our 5 Cash-To-Card kiosks, located throughout the Park.  For games, you will need to purchase a separate Gaming Card, which you can load via cashless payment at our in-park Gaming Card kiosks. 

  • In place of cash, consider purchasing an e-gift card before your Park visit. (See Website)
  • For guests who may not have credit or debit cards, they can convert cash to prepaid debit cards at the Cash-to-Card kiosks stationed around the park. In place of cash, consider purchasing an e-gift card before your Park visit.
  • Our roaming food and beverage carts will accept cash. 
  • We also offer single use meal deal valid at 12 locations with entree, side and drink.
  • The following places will still accept cash:
  1. The Chocolatier Restaurant, Bar + Patio
  2. Ticketing Services
  3. Parking
  4. ZooAmerica Ticketing Services
  5. Roaming food and beverage carts (cash only)
  • There are no fees to convert cash to a prepaid card at a Cash-to-Card kiosk inside Hersheypark. There are also no fees to use the prepaid card inside or outside of Hersheypark
  • Prepaid cards can be used anywhere Visa is accepted.

 

  • To enjoy games across Hersheypark, please purchase a separate Gaming Card which you can load via cashless payment at our in-park Gaming Card kiosks (Hersheypark gift cards are not accepted as payment). Great news - guests receive bonus cash ($5 on $20, $15 for $50, $25 for $75 and $35 for $100) on the card and the value does not expire.
