Welcome to the 2025–2026 School Year!

Dear Spear Families,

We are excited to welcome you back for the 2025–2026 school year! We hope you had a relaxing and enjoyable summer. As we prepare for another successful year, we want to share a few important updates and reminders.

First Day of School

The first day of school will be Tuesday, August 19th. All classes are currently scheduled and will be ready to view on the 19th. They will not be viewable before the 19th. We’re looking forward to a smooth and strong start to the year! Please review the Spear Quick Start Guide on our new Spear website.

New Easier (SSO) Log on

All students using the school-issued Chromebook will automatically log into Pearson Connexus. If you forget how to log on, please Log on.

New Spear Logo and Regalia

We’re excited to introduce a new logo for Spear Virtual Learning Academy! The updated design will begin replacing our old logo across all platforms. School regalia featuring the new logo will also be available for purchase soon—stay tuned for more details.

New Website

Spear now has a newly designed, user-friendly website. The updated site makes it easier to find information and includes a new feature that allows you to schedule appointments with the Director online. Spear

New Spear Calendar

We not have our own Spear VLA calendar that you can subscribe to right on your phone. Stay up to date with all the important dates.

New Spear YouTube Channel

We are launching a Spear YouTube Channel this year! This channel will feature helpful How-To videos for students and observers, designed to assist with navigating our virtual program and tools.
